@Portergauge Yep, like you being smart enough to figure out what comes between two events, doesn't mean that actually was on screen and that's what makes the writing bad. There is only so much you should have your audience piece together before they just write the story for you

@HiatReviews But there is a difference between doing it with a character that had a very important place in the story of WoD even if not everyone's favourite arc, and making silly quests with AUs where everyone was a Murlock

@HiatReviews Putting something out for your fans to invent an arc without having to actually write it yourself like BfA did is still bad writing. It's not intrigue or hint, its just a "What if--" scenario. She didn't have a special arc, but together with Maraad they had a nice arc.

@Omterala But in the end it was established that they have to stand together and Durotan also got his second chance to become the Chieftain he was always meant to be, so the story ended on a hopeful note that in a universe far away, things would be good. That was the end of it.

@HiatReviews Without that happening on screen, you get cheap character moments that just dilute the original arc in an insulting way without any of the actual content that would make a story interesting.

@Omterala BfA tried to be funny by flipping the script of "Well now the DRAENEI will attack out of paranoia that the orcs want to kill them and become the same as the Old Horde in the MU" which is just shit writing and against the themes of WoD and the story that was already closed.

@DrustDrood @Caleina_Lore @IAmKhadgarsBtch We literally knew Khadgar will die for months since Alpha and we only found out during the campaign finale patch that he actually survived. That was half a year of the anxiety and uncertainty and mourning without "a body" so to speak
