UPDATE: The capacity restrictions on transit traffic have been lifted with immediate effect. Skyguide is also operating normally again for arrivals and departures. Safety in Swiss airspace was guaranteed at all times.

UPDATE #3: The capacity restrictions in Geneva airspace are lifted. Several measures have been tested and taken to ensure that the air traffic control systems do not overheat and to guarantee the cooling of the control room.

Geneva airspace closed due to failure of cooling system after flooding in the basement. No take-offs or landings can take place. Skyguide is working intensively on a solution to restore the cooling of the data centre and regrets the inconvenience caused to passengers and airlines
