A reminder: Arab land occupies 5,000,000 sqm of earth. Jewish land, only 8,000 sqm. Ancient Israel was around 30,000 sqm. It's okay for Jews to have indepence in a PART of their indigenous home. Refusal to accept this is the sole crux of the middle eastern conflict.

Objecting to a pro Palestinian March being organised on the day Palestinians attacked Israel, murdered hundreds of people, cheered and spat ob the dead bodies and live streamed it is 'dehumanising Palestinians'? I think they dehumanised themselves that day Ben.
The outrage being manifested by the right wing press and pro Israel groups at the " news" that @PSCupdates notified @metpoliceuk by 1 pm on Oct 7 that we intended to march on Oct 14th is a classic example of the dehumanising of Palestinians and invisibilising of their oppression.

This is the point that the Irish Government seems unwilling to accept: If it continues to label events in Gaza as a genocide (and it is going to the international courts to make that claim) then our OWN laws legally obligate us to accept every Gazan who seeks refuge.

The damage done by the ICC allowing itself to be politicised against a democratic world leader fighting a war of self defence against those literally still holding its children hostage is profound. The international apparatus has become contaminated.
The Netherlands regrets the executive order imposing sanctions on the ICC. The court's work is essential in the fight against impunity. Our country has a strong reputation and responsibility as a host country of important international legal institutions. 1/2

@ministerBZ The ICC has demonstrated that it's clearly not impartial and is being used, like the UN as a political weapon by those with an agenda. The court itself has acted with impunity and in doing so has rendered itself unfit. There should be an independent investigation.
