Terrible pic, but spotted my first koala in the wild, off on an outreach rural EM education trip to some urgent cares centres. Looked up and he was just hanging out in the tree, right above my head. Thankfully wasn’t a drop bear, so it was more than safe to chill in the shade.

@emergency_CNS @SaltyEMNY Yep! There is definitely a time and a place for core temp monitoring, but “routine” neonatal rectal checks isn’t quite it, especially in an ED/UCC/GP practice.
