Yesterday, I was featured in the @latimes. My article focused on the #SaltonSea, its long-time residents, and the fledgling artist communities that call this place home. Thank you @TangLATimes for your help, and for working with me to get this published.
The Salton Sea's gradual collapse has continued over decades. In recent times, though, it has seen a revival of sorts, around a growing community of artists.

@Brad_Holly_US @EndWokeness This is a scare tactic. No doubt these criminals will settle for far less, but it won't be a slap on the wrist as it has been for so long.

@kane The goal is to distract visitors so they don’t notice the poor conditions on the street.

@Atlas84io @CollinRugg I hope not... There are plenty of qualified people, both on the left and right, who can steer this ship in the right direction. This is California, after all—where finding money isn’t the problem.

@houmanhemmati @GavinNewsom In fairness, that'll only increase the residual value of the lot. Most of those homes have been burned down, so there's not much there. May as well let those home owners sell for more than they could otherwise.

@houmanhemmati @GavinNewsom Banning gas stoves in California was like the EPA foisting those "woke" gas can nozzles on Americans. It turned simple tasks into a three-act tragedy. At best, you get a product that’s hilariously inferior, and at worst, you’re stuck with something that’s barely functional.

@SusanDReynolds @SFACC Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear this! I have two pit bulls myself, one that I got 12 years ago from SJ ACC. They are the best! Skylar looked like a good girl. RIP.

@BrookeJenkinsSF @rajmathai @nbcbayarea I've always wondered why some in the Democratic party think anarchy is acceptable? I just can't wrap my mind around that.

@Hummmmmbaby Ha! Last weekend we had Vietnamese food in SJ and Low was having an event at the same restaurant, Blue Monkey.

@GraduatedBen In fairness, it's actually the nozzle that's woke. The jerry can itself hasn't changed in a generation.
