y'all so mean haha — the key is higher, it sounds like it's sitting at the threshold of her range for her mixed voice. it's okay and normal to not sing perfectly all the time Imao.
@pierrefleury_
right - in a different context but in the spaces i’m in related movement work so much of how I hold space w. others is understating there’s a risk assessment in all things. fear is allowed - healthy. understanding your ‘why’ behind the action makes all the difference.
i actually love this — if you’ve followed Kat Graham musically, this is a lane she’s solidified herself within in likeness to Diana. Prince co-signed Kat Graham before his passing and we all know what an incredible actress sister is. i’m seated.
this woman is still the Artist of my life — her song’s i would sing until my lungs were tired. i reveled in her artistry. the elegance. the voice. my mother would sing Whitney Houston to me. it’s where my love for singing grew. it’s still so heartbreaking.
@ThereGoesTonio
bring me back to when courting was a thing — creating the ‘talking stage’ just doesn’t make sense to me and folks confusing themselves chileeee.
when you co-sign the death of Black Trans women you’re subsequently co-signing the death of Black people, period.
what’s done to us does not end with us.
y’all just hate that young people can think for themselves and make decisions. you put a camera in my face—call me lazy—disregard what i’m saying for 5 facebook likes and a repost? AND it’s my day off from school? chileee, wrap it up i’m going HOME.
This teen has a VERY tolerant father because his attitude is too grown for my taste.
Anyway, we were different because our parents took "train a child up" literally. These kids are entitled and lazy because they are given the floor to be.
This child has a rude awakening coming.

no one is guilt tripping you — the rhetoric is classist, ableist, and transphobic. you’re implying that folks who crowdfund don’t have a job or are unwilling to get one. in many cases folks do not work jobs where health insurance is include.
i know this not da same nigga who stole most of “his” production from other international artist saying that white abusive man should’ve put a muzzle on Britney Spears— i just know it’s not.
Timbaland says Justin Timberlake should have put a “muzzle” on Britney Spears, following the release of her memoir:
“I wanted to call JT and say 'Man! You should have put a muzzle on that girl.'”
clock it — from the direct actions over the years i’ve been apart of putting together there was never a moment i felt completely held and respected. in many cases it felt like folks looked at me wondering why i was there. shit is scary.
@DEXTERSREVENGE
@taswellll
when you factor in many insurances make it difficult if not impossible to get things covered this adds a new component. This is not considering the state and or country where said person is from that legally can impact their livelihood and access. think before you speak.

@Kenn0626
You’re genuinely not. I’m racist but I can still appreciate when a black woman is good looking. You are not, I’m afraid. You’re ugly.

even in the context of an ‘artist’ more times than not those personal tidbits are to make a deeper and personal connection. if someone needs help with rent, a car, food. transportation, supplies, one should be able to ask for help. the emphasis on “trans” is transphobic.
let’s address why the survival or your happiness is tied to your weight to begin with. your weight should never impact how people value you and how you value yourself.
Some folks mad about the “lose the weight and live a better gay life” part but it’s 100% true.. testimonials from newly fit people have stated how much they are better treated in dating, friendships, even work! It’s sad but it’s facts.
it’s less about what it does for “me” rather what are the implications that can be drawn from silence. if we see this as an individualistic approach we will continue to fail each other in pursuit of resistance and freedom. we all must be loud. celebrities included.
@DAPWrites2
currently my work focuses on addressing the front and back end of the criminal “legal” system by working directly with folks who’ve been system impacted and lobbying to implement new polices that support them and hold prosecutors accountable.
depending on the circumstances i will happily repeat something i’ve communicated because we all are a work in progress and reminders are helpful for the practice of repetition. there comes a point where you have to draw a line in the sand.
it’s weird, if someone’s career i.e. their profession is being an artist why are ‘we’ confused that leaked tracks is something upsetting and inappropriate? SZA, do what makes sense girl. we will live.
i’m not sure if it’s just me but i’m in this transitional period where things feel so outside of me. as of late, i’m seeking something i can quite out my finger on. maybe it’s my discomfort with being in silence or maybe something else but it’s been lingering for some time now.
sonically the production from her first album to her second record astronomically exist in separate spaces. Euro-Pop to synth, funk, and disco influences. that is like comparing apples to oranges.
