@CarrieCnh12 The opening titles came first, when I wrote the pilot script. Not sure I formally thought of 104 as a callback though I like the idea. Described it more as a spiritual explosion.

One of the more amazing moments from our shoot... listening to Lee Jihye's extraordinary voice take after take. Never lip-synced even though we had the guide track ready. Wasn't easy, but she always made it look effortless and moving. #pachinko #appletvplus

The music in this scene is one of the pivotal cues of the series. I asked @nicomuhly to make a mother's love and work feel sacred. When I heard the first iterations of this theme, my heart just exploded. He absolutely got it. #pachinko #appletvplus

In a very early structuring of this episode, this scene between Hansu and Isak came at the end of episode 103. It was Dani Gorin's brilliant note to try moving it to the top of 104. Seems so obvious now. #pachinko #appletvplus
