Enjoyed the fetal echo session on L-R discrepancy. .. @shubhi_srivas thanks! My learning points for coarctation 1. RV/LV ratio >1.3 ( or LV/RV <0.6) is not good. Also MV/TV ratio <0.6 is not good. 2. Give imp to aortic arch views. Normal looking arches are a good sign. Oth angulated arches are bad news. 3. Obvs aortic arch flow reversal is a red flag . But did u know if we see PFO L to R that is one too? 4. The left heart/ right heart ratio numbers add weight to finding of aortic isthmus/ duct ratio of <0.7.
