i read a fic where geto, after burning the village, realizes how vile it is to kill and how he thinks it's barbaric but he has to continue otherwise his life would lose all meaning and i consider it canon. he didn't want to, he knew it was wrong, but he had to.
It's funny how Gojo trusts Geto despite him being a wanted criminal, but what's even funnier is Geto being hostile towards Gojo after leaving him himself… GOD HES SO DRAMATIC.
