Purchasing bonds is how one would have received this version of MGS2 (this game is still factory sealed).
Interestingly, artwork on the flyer still features the World Trade Center - it was released before September 11th, 2001

The MGS2 Ultimate Disc Sorters.
Both super rare, but the black one is especially rare and was only attainable in a raffle. They contain slots for each of the versions of MGS2 that were available at the time, plus a music CD.
The other "discs" you see are all cardboard inserts

Ken’s Ramen from Providence RI, moved to LA last year. Recommend it 100% if you’re near it. Ask for the Hell Shoyu - crazy spicy and not on the menu. They’ll give it to you if you say you were a “Providence regular”.

The tin material is easily damaged, so super hard to find one in mint condition.

Super rare PAL press demo with original slip cover.
The slip cover was produced and used for two purposes - it was used in stores as a promo display, and was also (sloppily) paired with this demo when it was sent out, despite the IDs being different on the cover and disc.

no such thing as a melee player that wasn't hyped for brawl, that's def a myth. Agreed that Brawl was a life changing disappointment. if it was half as good as melee we'd have stomached it, but they tried so hard to kill competitive smash that they created melee elitists. whoops
