@im_anneliese What amazes me is that when anyone comments on this (because people notice how dutiful he is), he shrugs and smiles, and says it’s his duty. He takes joy in caring for others, and he lives the verse “in honor preferring one another.” His life blesses others.

One thing I’ve learned from X is that men are much more comfortable with being misunderstood. A man can post something reasonable, and hundreds of men and women will argue, complain, mock, accuse, and completely miss his point, and he just goes on about his day.

Something I’ve observed men do really well is accept apologies and move on without holding grudges. If you admit your wrongdoing, apologize and ask for forgiveness, it’s granted. They just move on and don’t bring it up again. It’s really healing and wonderful.
