@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel Is his “unambiguous intent” here for an FBI investigation into the circumstances around the deleted emails, or is he asking Russia to find the emails?

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel The opening file is not the only element of the FBI investigation. Why fixate on it? Clearly, if the DOJ denied a FOIA request on that basis, the comment must have had relevance to the FBI’s investigation. It was definitely in the Mueller report, so that makes sense.

@DickDozer69 @DPBeachNY @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel This is the whole thing, you’re a Trump voter and you’re attacking Clinton ex post facto with histrionics. (I didn’t vote for Clinton)

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel I understand that. I’m saying that documents related to the comment were not released during the investigation. The reason they were not released is because the FBI said that it would interfere with their investigation. Logically, the documents/comment must have been relevant.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel Clinton had ordered that they be deleted before the subpoena was issued, but the technician responsible forgot to delete them and only realized after the subpoena went out and then deleted them.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel We don’t know the extent to which the comment was relevant to the FBI investigation, because the DOJ refused to release related documents upon FOIA request on the basis that it would interfere with the FBI’s ongoing investigation. Given that, we can presume it had some relevance.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel I guess it’s possible, but I am not aware of any evidence that’s the case. I would think if there were, the Inspector General would have been interested in it.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel They were permanently deleted by Clinton. So how would anyone “find” them? Again: does Trump have dementia?

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel Why would he ask Russia to find something that doesn’t exist? Does he have dementia?

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel You can’t be serious with this framing. Trump mentions emails, and Russia attempts to find emails. How does it even make sense for Russia to find permanently deleted emails? He even later clarified that if Russia has the emails, they should release them.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel The DOJ Inspector General concluded otherwise in 2019. Take it up with him.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel I think it was terrible, he should not have pardoned those people. If they’re innocent, let them have their day in court, and the world will see how the Trump administration will try to fraudulently go after his enemies. It wouldn’t be pleasant for them, but that’s how life goes.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel He ordered his counsel to fire Mueller, and his counsel refused to do it. If his counsel was obedient, Mueller would be gone. Trump didn’t fire Mueller because of the insubordination of his staff, not some sudden moral compulsion or understanding of the optics.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel You’re not understanding. I’m not saying they found or even tried to find those specific emails. I’m saying that there is a direct connection between Trump asking Russia to do something about Hillary’s emails, and Russia hacking her email server the same day.

@DickDozer69 @DPBeachNY @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel The same thing I would do now, if someone tried to frame me for a crime. I wouldn’t try to intimidate the witnesses, or try to get the prosecutor fired. I would get a good lawyer (for the president, the best) and trust that the truth will set me free.

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel So it was just a total coincidence that he said “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing” and a hack occurred the same day?

@DPBeachNY @DickDozer69 @DylanEMHolland @esjesjesj @daveweigel I don’t care that he was “mad”, it was his actions that matter. I think Trump ordering McGahn to fire Mueller, ordering him to deny it, publicly attacking witnesses like Cohen, pressuring Sessions to shut down the investigation, lying about the Trump Jr. meeting, etc. matter.
