I went to Edinburgh to play a competitive cyberpunk card game called Android: Netrunner. I told him I liked his custom tokens. About 2 years later I went into the cafe where he worked and we talked for 2 hours. I moved to Edinburgh to be with him about 6 months later. 7 years 🥰

Let's talk about a thing that has affected me for my whole life but I learned the name for this yr: rejection sensitive dysphoria. It's an ADHD symptom (and is thought to be associated with autism too) and is a very sharp reaction to rejection/criticism.

Karen is a derogatory term, certainly, but it's about what you DO. It's a critique of specific behaviour. Like, if you use your perceived vulnerability or claimed victim status as a weapon against another vulnerable person.
