@gettagripfolks @ipa1869 @GrumpyOldGit5 @JamesMelville Hoping Psions make a comeback after >20 years - lots of these units sitting in boxes or in drawers - they seem to address a niche that neither PCs nor smartphones nor tablets can reach... :-)

Update: have refactored some of the old Psion Series 3a code into a NEW APP which I'm calling Bullet3a. Time to get any old Psions out from those drawers they've been sitting at the back of for 30 years! :-)
Using my 1999 software Client_L for the #Psion 5mx as a project management tool. I've reconfigured the data fields to SBAR format. It's making it worthwhile using REALLY OLD tech. We should never have let this go.

@jonathan_mccrea Likewise, don't have the numbers, but much more engagement over there. Here is full of ads.

@sandydoc79 If you think anyone is saying everything is rosy and wonderful, then you are clearly not maximally engaged. There is a lot more to do, and your colleagues across HSC are doing it and actually coming up with real solutions.

@sandydoc79 Well then, if it's nonsense, get engaged and help build better for the whole system. Might give a better appreciation of the scale of the challenge and what we're trying to do.

@sandydoc79 Nobody ever said transformation was going to be easy. But many areas are seeing major benefits already. It's not cheerleader/heretic - that's a false characterisation and dismissal of people putting in the hard yards. Keep 'er lit! 😀

@sandydoc79 Depends on who you asked and how you asked it. We are still very early in the game, but already significant benefits. At the end of the day this is about human beings, not computers.

@sandydoc79 It's not pedantic to be rational rather than using spurious fables. The medical design is very effective; CCIOs & MIOs are working hard and getting results, but none of this is easy. Why not apply for an MIO role and get engaged? All perspectives welcome.

@sandydoc79 Then you asked the wrong question and chose the wrong graphic. There is considerable medical input into design decisions; it's hard work because many different needs have to be balanced. Is it perfect? No. Are people blithely ignoring real issues? No. It's a journey.

@SJAMcBride @abdullah_sabri_ @BelTel @mea_bc @aaron_skinner This is the Why. This morning was idyllic - thanks so much for giving #ShareTheShore some exposure last week - hoping NIW see sense.

@gmac012 @TohillMartin We all have That Drawer. Mine has reached criticality, and the FrankenPsions are starting to emerge and power up! I've now got a retromuseum!

@TohillMartin Ah yes, that wee thing underneath... I think I might have a docking station lying around somewhere. IIRC getting stuff on and off Revos was a pain. And the 3a without a cable is tricky too. A really old laptop is sometimes a useful thing (serial port)
