This Mariners year feels a lot like 1996. All the hype after a magical run. Then injuries happened and team fell off. The Ms missed in 1996 but returned in 1997. I am not saying its over but saying I feel its following that path.

Bad series vs Minny. The Pitching wasn't good for the 1st time as a whole all year. The hitting minus one game was not good. The Ms will be 20-18. The team doesn't need to be torn down. Coaches dont need to be fired. Its May 9th.

Ms losing Ray/Munoz cost them 6 to 8 wins. Ray is better then Flexen who went 0-4 and 9.31 ERA. Munoz is better then Brash. So if you want to be conservative and say Robbie goes 2-2 in those starts. Munoz being out allowed Topa/Gott/Brash to take his spot. Combined 7 losses.
