I don't think they will make my PAN operative. They are just going to issue refund via cheque. Till the final order comes, I will have to do this process every year, I believe.

Had to submit that in person for both years (23-24 for which we filed the petition and 24-25). As @jackerhack said, it has to go up and down the chain of command for approval for a cheque to be issued to me.

@Saiarav @shyampsunder Smartpants like us actually campaign for more public buses, and only occasionally highlight the issue of private buses/vans illegally profiting from gaps in high demand routes. BMTC should do it more effectively and systematically. It's an uphill task to get the govt to invest.
