Knee-jerk responses won't address complex issues or resource use.

@niraadhaar1 @jackerhack @SandeepHegde @kingslyj @IncomeTaxIndia @nsitharaman Not yet. They said it will take at least a month for the multiple approvals before issuing cheque. I don't think they will make my PAN operative. They are just going to issue refund via cheque. Till the final order comes, I will have to do this process every year, I believe.

@jackerhack @niraadhaar1 @SandeepHegde @kingslyj @IncomeTaxIndia @nsitharaman As per the court order, we have to submit an indemnity bond. Had to submit that in person for both years (23-24 for which we filed the petition and 24-25). As @jackerhack said, it has to go up and down the chain of command for approval for a cheque to be issued to me.

@Saiarav @shyampsunder Smartpants like us actually campaign for more public buses, and only occasionally highlight the issue of private buses/vans illegally profiting from gaps in high demand routes. BMTC should do it more effectively and systematically. It's an uphill task to get the govt to invest.

Look at the target for mohalla buses, 2080 buses in a year!! Can @BMTC_BENGALURU too make a plan of neighborhood services, local loops, short distance trips with mini buses in many of the neighborhoods in Bangalore that lack proper connectivity and services? @RLR_BTM @BBPVedike
