A man in Nowshera had a baby girl, but instead of celebrating her, he buried her alive just because she wasn’t a boy. Imagine how cruel that is—trying to kill your own daughter just because of her gender. Thankfully, someone informed 1122 in time, and the rescuers saved her. An army officer, moved to tears, has now adopted her and taken responsibility for her future. That’s a kind act, no doubt. But what about the mother? If this man was ready to kill his own daughter, just think about what he must have done to punish his wife. Why isn’t anyone talking about her? If she’s alive and wants to raise her child, she should be given that right first. As for the father—he should be arrested immediately. No mercy. And people like him need to be taught a simple fact: it’s the father who determines the baby’s gender, not the mother. If he’s angry about having a daughter, he should blame himself, not harm an innocent child. This isn’t just about one case,it’s about the deep hatred for girls that still exists in our society.
