Hello friends, last month I started a new venture, Bundusan Books, a bookshop specialising in Borneo, indigenous and cultural stories. I saw that are few books about Borneo (my main subject) in bookstores and I intend to fill that gap independently.

I'm currently translating a Borneo Literature Bureau book to Malay. Why Malay, sebab boleh. Haha. But it all seriousness, it's to cater to Sabahan Malay readers. But one thing I noticed about Sabahan folklore in Malay, they tend to sound more Malay than Sabahan.
How do you translate "further down the river" to Malay?.

From what I read, the pole was carved and erected for couples who don’t have children. Selalu di sawah kan kena pacak. It is to tanda that this land has no next of kin gitu. Also erected by the grave kalau tidak silap.

Getting through RMO 101. When you're stocking up your kitchen, one of the best thing you can have is kitchen towels. Put them in your container before putting in your vegetables. Paper towels will absorb moisture and make your vegetable last. These can last me for about 2 weeks.
