when the DM refuses to let you romance the npcs because they're tired of coming up with elaborate backstories for all your randomly encountered love interests 🙄
weebs and jfashion fans are so deranged bc how are you gonna build an entire personality out of worshipping japan and not know that it is one of the least socially progressive places in the developed world i'm crying
Fascinated by this TikTok of a woman who ordered a “croissant lamp” of temu and was surprised it had ants crawling all over it on a hot day only to realise it was a real croissant that had been hollowed out and covered in resin
Insane to see all the quotes and replies from actual gals clowning on this post vs all the wannabe TT armchair gals hyping it up with their "wait this is actually so cute" 💀💀💀 please be serious and use your eyes + critical thought at least once I'm begging
if you look at certain items or any animal print and your first thought is wow that's so gyaru and then proceed to wear them all in the same outfit based on that, i can assure you with my entire spirit that you have no idea what gyaru is and am convinced you've never used google
bro i have so many of these but
the upside down "gyaru peace sign" is cringe and just because you do that in your pics doesn't make your aliexpress shein asian girl weeb cosplay any less tragic and it sure as hell does not make you gyaru.
Real onee gyaru are not out here telling people to accept "coquette gyaru" and if you don't know how to feel about happie nuts as a gal magazine please don't interact with me as this is not a safe space for you 💀
If your circumstances are so restrictive to the point that you can't actually do anything gyaru related like put on makeup then maybe being gyaru isn't for you and that's ok. If you loved it as much as you claimed to you wouldn't dilute and bastardize it beyond recognition.
a lot of asian countries and people still hold very conservative/judgmental views, it's not just japan. things are getting better as new generations push forward for change but y'all need to realize that society encompasses a lot of different folks and change can be v slow.

It's not gatekeeping to have standards. If you feel attacked by the actual gyaru in the qrts maybe try introspection instead of crying "just let people live and have fun". Y'all don't wear jeans and a chest harness then call it egl do you? Why does gyaru have to be watered down?
Y'all tiktok armchair gals are so insufferable and stupid fr yet you constantly wonder why there's no western community & no established gaijin gal wants to interact with you 💀
I so badly want to believe this is a troll but I've got so little faith in humanity I just know some people out there really are this fucking stupid 😫😫😫
I don't hate japan (or any asian countries btw) and i'm not trying to dunk on them. I'm just saying you can like the things that you do but also recognize that things are not always kawaii uguu sugoi
Thank you for the love on this 💖 I don't wanna spam too much but this look was just so cute so here's another batch of pics 🥺 I'll post the rest on my blog and ig!!

A cohesive gyaru outfit is more than just throwing on animal print, leg warmers, an alba coat and a dia belt. I promise you don't need to wear every single "gyaru coded" item you own in one outfit. Less can be more, pick 1-2 key items and build your co*de around them.
anyways the point i was trying to make is that it's ok to learn about all the bad and ugly things surrounding or adjacent to your hobbies and interests. being informed and having a desire to learn about these things is the first step to championing real and positive change!!
