@bbclaurak Hostages released looking like they’ve been tortured and starved and of course the BBC asks the only democracy in the region if they have committed crimes against the terrorist run state that raped and murdered children. Classic BBC.

Do you think that it is irrelevant whether someone grew up in a country and has generations of history in that country? Anyone can have an opinion or views based on their experience but clearly to understand a nation that natural infinity is not equivalent to researching on Wiki. If someone with British ancestry happened to be born in Tokyo and then moved there at 20 do you think they would be accepted as a potential leader of that country? No of course they wouldn’t. If Starmer had been born in Nigeria and grew up in London and then decided he wanted to be President of Nigeria would that fly? No. Would Nigerians be racist for not wanting someone with zero experience of their country and no cultural understanding of it as their leader? No. 🙄

@naomirwolf Not sure why Musk is any different from any other government official who has potential access to these records. Theft is theft. There is no reason to suspect that Musl would be any more likeable to abuse his position than any other person with access.

@georgegrylls The issue this raises is what if a court like the ICJ rules on Gibraltar or Falkland Islands or Scotland!? Does Starmer just roll over? He defers to lawyers on everything. Or is it just that he has a financial interest in assisting Mauritius?

@SomersetBobby @elonmusk The BBC, in whatever capacity, has no business interfering in the affairs of foreign countries. BBC Media Action needs closing down.

@SpeechUnion It was strange how so many of the “rioters” instantly pled guilty and went to jail. How many of them would win an appeal or would not have been found guilty if it had gone to trial?

@beverleyturner @Nigel_Farage Farage is up to his eyes in money. If there wasn’t money to made in politics he would be no where to be seen. He is taking money of “normal (yuk) hard working” Brits and funnelling it through his private political party! He is a leader who cannot be removed. He’s full of 💩

@matthewdmarsden No. The UK needs ten more years of decline and then radical rebuilding. Farage etc are a waste of time.

@_adamcherry_ Because it’s a fucking non-story. There’s so much that Starmer is doing now that is appalling that focusing on this nonsense that actually was not even a breach of the law is utterly pathetic.
