Finally completed the Sideboard Guide for my list of Jund Glee. Tried to make an extensive job with it (27 pages, 12k words), covering the side in/out of 20 matchups with my inputs on how to play it out both in Game 1 and in the postboard games.

Here it is! PauperGeddon Pisa 2024 Top 4 out of 650~ players! Insane event, had a lot of fun, and i'm really happy to have made it this far in my second Geddon ever after placing 10th in my first one a few months ago.

Jund Glee list i've been playing and has given me a decent amount of trophies.
A bit awkward as it's the first time i do it, but i did a bit of yapping at the link you can find in the comments (it's free).

After 2 days of tournament, 12 rounds of Swiss, sleeping in my car for 2 nights (don't trust the "camping" ideas of your friends, it's not gonna work) i made it all the way to Top4 of PauperGeddon Pisa piloting Goblin Combo! Will do an actual recap tomorrow, now im too cooked

In my Geddon Testing i overlooked glee cause i didnt feel like i could make a list by myself and didnt found one i liked. Now it's time to try out the good decks from the tournament and this thing is so strong i'm speechless. First attempt istant 5-0.

Got rid of the 2 rockets (goodbye my beloved) for 2 khalni that serve as the t1 fodder for a t2 dispute same as rockets, but also give me more keepable hands to not mulligan into oblivion, and they have been paying off!

Wrap-up of the Pauper Challenges over the weekend. Red is still taking over, it had a real good day on Saturday. Gardens and Blade doing well is nice to see. Turbofog was the only deck that had a significant win rate over the red deck (White Weenie in shambles).

so, you have the combo, you play invoker (you probably have taken 3 dmg from the curse at this point). then you sac token for mana, glee triggers, token comes back, curse triggers. in response you repeat the process and shoot them with invoker with all the curse triggers on stack

For my weekly rant i choose yet again: BG players!
After the Moment's Peace, there is a new tech: the full playset of Drown in Sorrow! Which is very good to win more against creature decks (their best matchups) and lose more against non-creature decks (their worst matchup)!

i'm single-handedly responsible for boosting the terror decks winrate. both in leagues today and yesterday and in the challenges (4-2 and 3-3) i managed to beat everything else and lost only to terror decks.

Trophy number 12th of the season!
On the verge of losing my self-control in the first 4 matches (all of my opponents played the combo deck kuldotha+bushwacker), facing the final boss BG gardens was almost refreshing
Time to round up the trophy count to 15 in the final days!

my sideboard plan covered those main deck problems pretty well, felt great. Jund lizard is definetely something to respect, looked insane! The BG version to me feels like a worse Goblin Combo. Walls is a crazy deck, but i feel like it folds to krark shaman too much for my taste

as I was saying to pedra, my thought process in excluding fangs is that step 1 is necesarily resolving chrysalis and before that is useless, while weather can help you make it to the point where you can wrath the board and still being strong after, so is overall more flexible

i like goblins cause the combo passes through gy, but its not really "a gy deck". Opted for 4 discard main to fight thraben charm and it worked neat. Munitions its close to unbeatable g1, but it's a 1x mostly so i'm down to lose to it if they see it.

Overall happy with my deck choice and my 75, they performed well and i'm not regretting any choice. Facing competitive yet sportsmanlike opponents through the 2 days was dope and i'd not have made it this far without the endless support of my friends of LegaPauperParma <3

The bad news is that I keep getting gatekeeped by the random BG garden, t1 thraben t2 glitter t3 glitter or the full grip of counters from monoU/Faeries.
The good news is that i keep farming 4-1's with tribe.

pretty much that! also cause i'd rather have a card advantage spell or an interaction one than a spell that makes me dig for a specific card, which i don't think it's the focus when playing jund

invoker mi da quella sicurezza in più che non ha bisogno che ci siano tutti i pezzi della combo sul tavolo per vincere, quindi esce fuori da incastri strani per cui puoi fare mana infinito con doppia spawn, ma perdi lucertola o glee e poi lì con nadier non faresti nulla

i'm not sure why i didnt think of it before. 18 wasn't bad, has been working fine, but it had the bad habit of forcing you into a mull to 5 from time to time. Ideally when you have 2 lands the engine starts, so you just had to hit those 2 and you were ok even at 18.

oh y definetely, if you register this deck you are signing up to lose some games where you do absolutely nothing, but in the end, live by the combo and die by the combo ahah my problem with DR is that the combo requires 2 Green unless you start playing some random +1+1 cards

monored it's tricky, but its not an unwinnable matchup. you have everything you need postboard to win the match, and sometimes you get em in g1 if they dont have enough interaction or go very greedy.
