I lost too many hours today getting caught up in the Rails console's use of prettyprint. I kept thinking the data was not formatted correctly.

I still cannot believe how much more it costs to insure a Tesla than other vehicles. We have full coverage on three vehicles; the Tesla (Y) is 50% of the bill. Collision alone on the Tesla is 25% of the total bill.

I’m still in search of my next Ruby on Rails gig. It seems like the market has really dropped off over the past 12 months. I’m totally happy with a part-time contract, more than one of possible. @donnfelker @strzibnyj I have been using mise for the last month and I am happy with the change. The api is simpler and more consistent. Built in ENV support is nice as well.

How do you ensure tools like Brakeman and StandardRB are often run locally? I have them enabled in CI, but I usually forget to run them locally, especially Brakeman (Standard + RubyLSP ext ❤️) I am toying with automating them as system tests outside of CI.

Completed the #Chad1000X - 1000 step ups with 50lbs in the ruck. I never thought about doing it before and didn’t train for so I doubt that is a good timing, but still happy to have completed it.

This is so nice. When you cd into a directory, Mise warns you what is missing, and then you can `mise install` to have the dependencies met.

This was an interesting experience that I do not think you can get outside of Apple. - MBP died on Wed - Take it to an Apple Store on Thur - Received fix the computer in Mon Between Thur and Mon, the computer makes a trip from NJ → KY → NJ
