Find it hard not to feel offended by artists asking that much of fans (especially during cozzy livs). There's devotion and then there's being taken advantage of.
General sale started at 11am today and there are THIS MANY seats still available for Edinburgh N1 (its like this all the way round the stadium) but every seat is the top VIP ticket…£661 each. How is this allowed?!

It’s hard to believe there was a time before Spotify and YouTube, but Kerrang TV was single handedly responsible for curating the soundtrack to my adolescence. It was how you knew what was good and what was new. Thought it’d be there for every generation after me too! Sad news.

There's a subplot in Booksmart where a female teacher sleeps with a male student, played for laughs. For me, it's the one thing the film gets wrong. It might exclude a lot of things, but it goes for this gag, which sits so uncomfortably alongside how progressive most of it is.

For me, cinemas are an escape. Getting to focus on just one thing when every other minute of the day is overstimulating feels really soothing. The dark lets us react sincerely, laughing or crying or jumping from a scare, no self-consciousness. They’re places of joy.

I think this is a good review and that 'routinely mistake familiarity for fun' is saying more about cinema than it is kids. It's not just Mario, it's Spider-Man, it's Free Guy, it's Ready Player One - it's a culture of 'I recognise that thing' over creativity and storytelling.
Kids will probably love this kids’ film, but I am a sophisticated adult and I found it a bit childish. 1 star. I will spend my pay cheque for this with real pride.

I won't go see films by Bryan Singer, Woody Allen et al. I don't really mind going to see films by people who, at their most radical, say 'women should be paid the same, actually'.
Has anyone else stopped watching films if they feature social justice warrior celebrities? I refuse to watch Anne Hathaway, Brie Larson and Emma Watson because of their annoying views. It's quite easy to avoid them because they're in some very bad films.
