Court refuses to permit termination of 26+ week-old pregnancy on grounds that:
1. Petitioner does not qualify for termination beyond the 24 week limit under Sec 3(2)(b) and 5 of Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act.
2. No Substantial foetal abnormalities.
A new Constitution Bench led by Justice KM Joseph will assemble for the first time today.
This Bench is expected to schedule hearings in 6 cases.
