Fun fact: If you make a beat in 128bpm and post it to your Instagram story you'll be able to have a new story every 8 bars so each time the viewer skips they'll hear a new part of the beat
As a producer and audio engineer of course I know how to figure out the bpm and key of a song/beat but it is still easier to just have them written in the name of the file, so why not just do that?
I’m thinking about raising my prices per mix & master to $100, to work with more clients who are 100% serious about their music. Is $100 a reasonable price for this?
I get DMs like this on a daily basis and that should not be happening. I don't know when it became normal to send texts like these to women that you have never met and you barely know. No idea what your intentions are while sending this but just stop it. Nobody wants to see it
Don’t send me one vocal file and tell me to duplicate it to pan them left & right. This creates phasing issues will sounds not as good as having 2 or 3 different recordings
Tip for mixing:
Never spend more than 40 minutes on a mix (audio editing excluded) because everything after that just makes it worse. It's better to go back later that day to finish the mix
Since I started doing that I was way more efficient
I don’t wanna be rude but some artists and producers on here are definitely tone deaf. Like there is no way you don’t hear that some of the most obvious things are not in key
