On Sept 29, 1996 after leading 207 laps Jeff Gordon would win the Tyson Holly Farms 400 the final NASCAR event held at the track.
25 years later the track has never been any closer to a revival then now, it's time. I hope one year from today NW will have a new story to tell.

Thoughts on yesterday after 25 years the track has sat waiting.. In all the years we've done this it would have been easy to just give up and a few times it came close.
We chose to fight because it was the right thing to do for NW and Wilkes Co. now is time to make this happen.
