@washingtonpost Shame on you for writing the original post. This victim of a terrorist bus bombing in Jerusalem carried out by hamas 21 years ago is horrified at your lack of compassion for the parents of an American citizen being held hostage by a terrorist organization for 8+ months.

The "pay for slay" program use taxpayer money to incentivize the continuation of terrorist attacks by hamas. Once a Palestinian terrorist carries out a terrorist attack a stipend is given to the family indefinitely. Where is the outrage???

25 years ago today, two terrorist attacks occurred at the US Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, & in Nairobi, Kenya. 213 ppl were murdered in Nairobi & 11 in Dar es Salaam. 4,000 in Nairobi were wounded & 85 in Dar es Salaam. Thoughts are with the families today and always.

Today we launch our Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) report, after distributing a survey to 132 survivors. “CICA is broken. There can be no other conclusion from the data and the testimonies we have gathered.”
