@aliciaandrz I was a pickle for Halloween in the 1980s. Green trash bag, paper plate painted green with the little stem glued on as my hat. One of my memorable costumes (to me)— and I still love pickles!

@Chris_arnade We are on a year-long trip around the world. I agree that most people like Americans— my theory is they don’t blame us for our govt bc they don’t totally agree with theirs. We have not met any Trump supporters- most taxi drivers seem horrified that we might vote for him again.

@darbysaxbe @NYT I loved this and I am also a champion ignorer. I feel like so many people are willfully misunderstanding you! I’m in Spain right now, where there are kids everywhere, with their parents, not exactly ignored but definitely not the center of everything. I LOVE IT.

@TK_HelpDesk I fly a lot, and this is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is appalling. This should be a simple procedure -- you cancelled a flight, we cannot fly, so we get a refund. You have made it incredibly difficult & there STILL is no solution!

@bearonwings @JessicaCalarco I think this is important and I’ve been thinking about it since I lived in Sweden. There is this myth that we could have full access to healthcare for free in the US, and it’s inaccurate. We would have costs. It would be worth it! But we need to talk about them.
