@MTPHereToHelp Please resolve the traffic problem on Kherani Road. A whopping 107% cost escalation, discrepancies in allotment of the contract & multiple delays .. More than 3 years after the @mybmc allotted a contract worth several crores for the reconstruction of the Marwah bridge, the work is yet to be completed. 👉 This bridge serves as a vital connector between Andheri East and Powai. The corruption & delays in the project have caused unprecedented traffic snarls & heartburn for the locals residents. In many ways, this is another story that shows how the Khokhe Sarkar's and the administrator-run @mybmc'sl love for contractors friends is inversely proportional to its apathy towards citizens. 👉 Time and again Mumbaikars are being made to suffer due to poor planning, corruption & the government's lack of accountability towards issues faced by the common man. 👉 When will the Shinde sarkar & the BMC administration stop taking citizens for a ride? Our questions : 1. Why does it take so long to construct a 130-m road? 2. The CAG had flagged off irregularities in the allotment of the contractor, what action was taken on these objections? 3. Were the BMC and the contractor not aware of the underlying cables and water pipelines? Shouldn't there be action against all those responsible? 4. The extended deadline was May 2024 which has also been missed, what is the guarantee the project will be delivered by end of June as claimed? The @ChandivaliCCWA has been consistently following up on the issue, it is a shame that the authorities have not been able to address citizens' concern. Our demands: ✔️ Action should be taken immediately to resolve issues so that the citizens are able to use the bridge at the earliest. ✔️ An inquiry must be ordered into the reasons for the delays and cost escalations in the project and action must be initiated against errant officials and the concerned contractor. Citizens who are already paying from their pockets for the cost escalations, should not be made to suffer anymore. @INCMumbai @INCMaharashtra @RoadsOfMumbai @DcruzRoland

The newly constructed concrete IRB road at Chandivali has developed a huge pothole in the middle of the road.  Only @mybmcRoads has this technology where potholes can be developed on concrete roads. @mybmc has to make sure this technology is not stolen by other countries.  @IqbalSinghChah2 @TOIMumbai @HTMumbai @mid_day @LokmatMumbai
