The rape and murder of a 23-year-old techie in 2014 in Mumbai had shocked the city. Over ten years later, the arrested man is cleared of all charges by the Supreme Court, after being on death row. Tried to explain what led to the acquittal:
The Supreme Court on Tuesday acquitted 40-year-old Chandrabhan Sanap, who had been on death row since 2015. The court cleared him of all charges, including the rape and murder of a 23-year-old software engineer. @sadafmodak explains:
