A question I get asked all the time is how YC reacted to our pivot, given that they funded us for a completely different idea.

This is why groupthink is so prevalent now. It’s at the point where people either have to pin their worth to their belief and accept being ridiculed if it’s not true, or just agree with what everyone else says. A whole lot of confirmative rhetoric in lieu of actual creativity.
It's weird that people get mocked for changing their minds. To me it seems *more* impressive to conclude P after previously believing ~P.
If P is in fact true, you not only got the right answer, but did it with a headwind.
