Co-organised by the University of Sheffield (Drs Sabine Little and Yue Zhou) and the University of Bath (Prof Xiao Lan Curdt-Christiansen), the conference is an opportunity for researchers in Chinese heritage language maintenance to come together and learn from each other.

News today reports a Reading for Pleasure crisis. In my work with @Literacy_Trust back in 2020, we found multilingual children more likely to read for pleasure, and more likely to enjoy reading in home languages. Time to repeat that research on multilingual reading for pleasure?
