i recommend dragons dogma to ffxiv players. no the games are not anything alike. i recommend it solely because when you see one of your party members standing in an aoe like an idiot you can go over there and physically pick them up and toss them out of it

In ffxiv you have your tank gather up the mobs and then your mages (and everyone else) blow them up with aoes. In dnd you can do this too but the difference is your tank also eats the fireball to the face. Not that this would stop me

i like how the statue of thaliak in old sharlayan is depicted as an elezen!! the statues of halone in ishgard are all hyurs and the lore reason is that the sculptors were hyuran (and it made the elezens mad). it's interesting
