Yesterday pundits were saying how @rogla “fell apart.” Finishing 30s off a former world TT champ in an hour TT, when you have been defending yellow, isn’t falling apart. This wasn’t Roglic falling apart, this was @TamauPogi having one of the greatest rides in recent history.

Agreed. The responsibility for this one lies on the race organizers. There was no signage or indicator that we were going to hit a gravel section. This section should have been neutralized. I felt like a lemming being led off a cliff. We are just lucky more weren’t injured.
It's honestly amazing that this wasn't worse. ASO should be fined for allowing the riders down such a dangerous road surface. How this pass a course inspection? . Also, give those mechanics a raise! #TDF2021.

We need this legalized in Canada. Particularly in the @NCC_GatPark . I get very annoyed when I am yelled at back in the Ottawa/Gatineau area for riding 2 abreast, when in reality it is safer for us and more convenient for the passing vehicle.

Yup! Also get rid of the relegation system! It forces teams to run triple programs throughout the season (a much greater carbon footprint). The world tour should only be the WT. Peloton sizes need to be reduced and the calendar needs follow a more logical travel pattern.
