I was in a residency @vtstudiocenter with Chelsea Edgar, who was working on this story when she was there. It was fascinating to hear her talk about it and even more exciting to see it in print! This is a great story about small towns and how they can unite us.
In Hardwick, Vermont, the Civic Standard—at once a community center, an arts organization, and a social-services agency—brings neighbors together in these bleak, divided times.
