This week, I joined an inter-agency convoy to #Kharkiv region, just 11km from the front line, to see firsthand how @WFPUkraine assistance supports these communities in the winter months.

Yesterday, I met with Head of #Kharkiv Regional Administration, Oleg Synegubov, to discuss how @WFPUkraine can best support people in the region in 2025. We will continue to provide emergency food & cash assistance near the frontline, and support daily meals for schoolchildren.

This week I met with the Mayor of #Kharkiv @mayorterekhov to sign an agreement between @WFP & the city—improving nutrition for 4,000+ young children in underground schools. @WFP will support daily hot meals and will add more fruit & dairy to each meal making them more nutritious.
