‘Defending Ireland’s neutrality’ is a rather odd turn of phrase, considering the MEP’s tweet is anti-defence spending. It leads one to ask the question, if war was to return to Europe (leaving aside the fact it already has) how would Ireland’s neutrality be, you know, defended?
