@dhh While I mostly agree, the take is a bit revisionist. Europe tried the neoliberal peace through trade strategy and it failed. It was worth a shot and no one could predict how it would pan out (in 2018 we knew but a decade earlier we didn't). Yes it was risky but maybe worth it

@_williamkennedy Why would you do that when you can just write a native app though? It's just adding a layer of complexity. The benefit of Hotwire Native and similar is if you want to publish generic apps to 2+ platforms with minimal work. Once you get into platform specific stuff go fully native
