Well, the issue is that landlords try to make a big deal about how much they "contribute" trying to make themselves seem like exploited victims being taken advantage of by renters when in reality they do very little and are up to their ears in debt that renters pay off.

I sent my last Query today. Aside from one or two agents who are currently closed, I have sent queries for my WIP to EVERY agent who lists my genre(over 200+), and not a single one has bothered to read my book. The industry is just too broken for anyone to hope to succeed. I quit
