Yesterday I was cleared to start getting on horses, and today was the first time I’ve gotten on a horse in about a year, it felt like a dream and was long overdue, I’m so thankful for everyone’s support. All glory is to God 🙌🙏

Went to the specialist today and everything from the surgery is healing very well and pretty fast, it’s a little while to recover but I will for be able to ride again when Im fully recovered thank god 🙏🙌

4 years ago I’ll never forget when my surgeon said I may never walk or ride again. I’ll always consider myself blessed to not only ride again, but learn from every obstacle I’ve faced throughout my injury. All glory will always be to God 🙏

Last night at around 9pm I was finally released from Aventura hospital and I’m back home now on a little way to recovery. Thanks to everyone for the prayers and well wishes

Today I had a checkup with my surgeon, he said all is healing very well and in about 3 months I will go back and do a CT scan to determine if I can start getting back on horses or how much longer it will take. All glory is to God 🙏

Just an update on my injury, I’m about 99% healed, but my surgeon and I decided to wait until mid January to start getting on horses to ensure that my body is 100% ready, it will be one year after the accident, also a huge thank you to everyone for all the love and support ! 🙏

I just went to see my surgeon and he said that the progress is going great we just have to give it time to heal, my concussion is still here and I finally got my staples removed, I’ll go back in another month for another follow up 🙏

It felt so great to be back to see the horses and my Gulfstream family
Apprentice Romero Maragh, injured in a frightening spill here last month, was back to the track to visit for the first time today. Maragh underwent surgery to fuse 4 vertebrae following the incident. Maragh, 19, said he fully intends to resume riding once his injuries heal.
