Sounds like a brilliant initiative and a great approach. I will dig around, but the @WarrCriminology suggestion sounds good.
Hiya all - working with a group of long serving men in prison who want to do something on the 'myths and realities of 'institutionalisation'''.. Can anyone recommend a good paper - not too jargon heavy .. or any other recourses they can access?

Great teaching tip, and a wonderful commentary. Catch a Fire is one of my favourite BMW albums. Saw them twice play at London’s Rainbow theatre. Very special.
Today's blog entry from @AngelaCharles27 marks what would have been the 80th birthday of #BobMarley & shows that #Criminology can be found everywhere, you just need to know what to look for @ManosDaskalou @paulabowles @UniNorthantsFBL @UniNhantsNews

@TimNewburn Such a fabulous, funny film. I remember us both reaching for the name of the other actor when we discovered how much we both liked it, way back at Goldsmiths, and your insistent correction of my insistence that it was John Candy.

@JohnWil20256848 @TimNewburn I enjoyed it a lot and have used it as an excuse to quote the Dylan lyric at the front of The New Criminology to my LSE students - “If you live outside the law you have to be honest…” It seems like a film made for people of a certain age.

@rachshabi I’ll be asking the local bookshop to get it in if I can’t find it on the shelves or tables. Urgently needed in these dark times.
