Yesterday, I graduated with a PhD from @CaltechEAS. I am so grateful to everyone that helped me along this journey. I was worried that I would be burnt out by the end of my PhD, but I am not. I am really excited to continue doing research, work with students and play with robots.

wow, already 1 year since Ingenuity experienced rotor damage.
New images confirm the #MarsHelicopter sustained rotor damage during Flight 72. Our helicopter has flown its final flight. Ingenuity defied the odds and captured our hearts. #ThanksIngenuity for showing us what’s possible when we dare mighty things.

I recall when the airplane I was in had to do an emergency landing due to multiple bird strikes (3 if I remember the sounds correctly). The pilot calmly informed us that we had collided with several birds. Consequently, we would divert to Honolulu instead of Maui, where better repair facilities were available. He reassured us that despite the incident, the airplane was stable and functioning well.
