@coryfromphilly Im not sure, I think it is a little. You can only sprawl so much when local governance is fractured bc building quickly sprawls into another jurisdiction.

@coryfromphilly I don't think a wage tax really works in a suburb bc most people work elsewhere. The Philly wage tax is based on the fact that it taxes a lot of non residents

@coryfromphilly Right, but suburbanites don't want to raise them Its also a dangerous game places will try to keep them low to attract residents over many small neighbors and costs grow much faster than town revenue

@coryfromphilly It seems the counties are all jacking up property taxes regardless of the politics now, its not inevitable but it seems like the median homeowner's preferences will lead to suburban insolvency
