Don't quite your job to become an #indiehacker Instead, side hustle until you find something viable. This allows you to make growth decisions for a business rather than money decisions. There's a big difference sometimes. This is how I went $0-$123k/mo back in the day.

@forgebitz The reality is that we have made the barrier to entry so low for web dev that things like this happen, whereas if it was hosted on a VPS like 10 years ago, caching would have been explored long ago. Otherwise the site would have gone down. I get that we're all mad at the pricing

@NicheDown This happened to me in 2017 from changes they made. It wasn't a complete shut down, but their continued lock down of the api squeezed a bunch of us out over time. My business was at $123k/mo at one point and all down to zero in 2019.
