When looking for a designer, people say they want a generalist but I believe they want a specialist who is the best at one thing and can fill in the gaps here and there if something small comes up.
Let's say you are a designer trying to prove to the market that you are valuable.
If I would hire a designer today, I would be looking for someone that can help with brand, product, web and everything in between, on a high level.
I think I’m not alone in that. More and more clients will be looking for this type of generalist designer.
