hearing ventus say "my friends are my power, and i'm their's" for the first time and realizing sora never said that last part felt like i got hit by a freight train.
While Sora's struggles being hidden and only fully confirmed in KH3 leads to people get more emotionally attached to other characters with more visible arcs, it being like this is one of the reasons Sora is my favorite, it works BECAUSE it was slowly build up across the series.
