@ShitpostRock PVE would have been such a win and they have infinite money for it. So many great characters with interesting back stories imagine mini campaigns for each with a good story that teaches you the best mechanics for how to use the character...a man can dream 😭

@thecaptain_nemo Yeah the optimism about keeping jobs seems unrealistic. When he says the leaders in the field believe jobs will go away but he believes they won't he offers zero reasoning. If the experts developing the tech think it will take jobs why would you believe otherwise?

@DannyGonzo22 @LynAldenContact Google the BYD dolphin...incredibly good for what it is. A 12,000 ish dollar electric car that gets the job done. I'd buy one in the US if it were an option. Our cheapest electric car costs over twice as much new.

@kimmonismus @Dreamsof2016 I'd just like to point put that pretraining hasn't really plateud. It's still following the scaling laws compute just doesn't grow nearly fast enough for those gains to be huge. Googles last non reasoning model was the best ever made and I'll assume gpt 4.5 will be as well.

@abby4thepeople As a Christian I'll support this. Lots of people seem to pick and choose their favorite passages (everyone's guilty of that to some extent) but the rate at which they choose to ignore the ones where you help others and are empathetic is what bothers me personally.
