@latimes What’s the clash, exactly? Encouraging overweight people to lose weight is what should be expected from the healthcare community. Avoiding Diabetes, joint damage, organ strain, greater risk of Covid morbidity and super spreading. those are all valuable reasons to do so.

Dear Whit Babcock. I’m not proud to say just a few years ago I wasn’t really into Woman’s basketball. But now I have a DVR full of #Hokies woman’s games. King did that. Amoore did that. Kitley did that. But most of all CKB did that. Please find a way to keep him in Blacksburg.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Peanut butter is my go to for giving medicine to my dog. I use a spoon to get the peanut butter out of the jar though.

I root for the Virginia Tech Hokies. If a player thinks a different school is where they need to be that is certainly their right and I don’t begrudge that at all. But I’m saving my support and cheering for the players of Virginia Tech.

Two coaches in two weeks and the Athletic dropped their coverage of VT sports. Success in other sports is great but football is the revenue generator and it sure feels like we are going in the wrong direction.

I’m surprised nothing has leaked out regarding the #Hokies WBB coaching search. Also surprised that we’ve seen very few portal announcements. I’m hopeful this means the short list is really solid and players are willing to play for the new coach. 🤞🏻.

Drones is only a R-SO and he will get better. There is just no denying the offense is more dynamic with him in the game. He is an extra ball carrier that has to be seriously accounted for and it makes a huge difference.

I’m not going to lie, I always liked Pry but I was worried after our three win season. But now, we are back in a bowl game, a bunch of guys who clearly had options are coming back, and we’re hitting on portal and recruiting targets. Really feels like the program is on the rise.
