My parents emigrated to Canada 60+ years ago- no English- long hours working sometimes 2 jobs, for low wages,.....never even dreamed of accepting hand outs from the government (principles and pride). This is the heritage that built Canada,...it’s fall is a tragedy beyond words...

After 18 months, I (directly) know someone who died from covid,...friends of mine in Kentucky,...her husb called me last eve,...she-age 73, in hosp for 5 wks- had foot and part of leg amputated due to clots before she died (covid symptom???) I think not..
