@Project_RCC @chazman @DirtyTesLa @ProtoZet Here you go. The current bumper camera setup doesn’t “see” the car until it’s right up on you. Far too late. But it’s possible the FoV is being heavily cropped in which case I just realized my bull guard would likely block the FoV if they use the un-cropped FoV for FSD
It does NOT help when you with high speed cross traffic in a scenario where the b-pillar cams are obstructed as you can see from this video where the b-pillar cameras can see much further down the road than the bumper camera. Two things 1. It’s very possible this camera view is much wider and highly cropped for Cybertruck. 2. It’s very possible this isn’t the same camera setup on the new Y (but I bet it is)

@Project_RCC @chazman @DirtyTesLa @ProtoZet I’ll make a video demonstrating why this camera is not going to help with any cross traffic UPL scenarios in a little bit.

@Project_RCC @chazman @DirtyTesLa @ProtoZet Yes. I own a truck with this exact camera setup already. Its position is such that it can’t see very far in any direction, because it’s so low to the ground. The higher you are the further you can see things. I can’t understand this for you.

It’s both. Sedentary lifestyle + easy access to the cheapest most addictive least healthy food product.
It’s not necessarily the food, I blame the lifestyle. Most people in the US live in dormitory like communities and commute to factory like offices. Streets even in the “walkable” neighborhoods are largely empty. The grindset mindset is rampant. Food is often used as a cope with the stressors of life.

@FSDdreams I had remain connected to wifi while in Drive on for my wifi connection. See if you’ve enabled that. If so it tries to stay connected to your home wifi as you drive away and won’t fall back to cellular for quite a while.
